The name Beverly Hill is always synonymous with fame, riches, and splendor. Initially thought to be an entirely new area in the country, the name was actually named by the developers as a result of their memories of the hills back in Beverly, Massachusetts. Before its development into a place occupied by famous residents and made up of world-class shops, and even a TV show named after it, it was originally Spanish ranch where lima beans were grown.
